Chapel of San Sebastian
The lower body of the tower is occupied by the Chapel of San Sebastián, today also called the Chapel of the Holy Family. This chapel is covered with a beautiful Gothic starry vault in whose central key there is a beautiful image of Saint Andrew the Apostle who carries the cross in his hands. Originally, the chapel of San Sebastián must have served as a transit space for the sacristy, as shown by the Gothic arch that gave access to it and which was covered when the current altarpiece was placed. This arch appeared during some works carried out in the Parish and today serves as an environmental background for the group of the Sagrada Familia.
The altarpiece of the Chapel of San Sebastián is the work of Nazario de la Vega, who, as has been seen, also collaborated in the realization of the main altarpiece of the temple. It is a classicist altarpiece, in whose attic there is an elegant relief of the Annunciation crowned by a triangular pediment. The main niche was originally dominated by a large image of Saint Sebastian that has been identified in the school of Gregorio Fernández. However, today a modern group representing the Holy Family is venerated in the altarpiece, framed as has been seen, in the old entrance arch to the sacristy that serves as the setting for the house in Nazareth.
In the Chapel of San Sebastián or the Sagrada Familia there is also the image of the Holy Christ of Patience. It is a carving from the 16th century that was originally found on the side wall of the San Gregorio chapel but was transferred to the San Sebastián chapel in 1987. It is a Proto-Renaissance image, with influences from the Berruguete style that can be found emptied at the back, which suggests that from its origins it had a processional use. The Christ of Patience enjoys great devotion and popularity in the parish and in the city, since it is taken out in procession by the Parish of San Andrés on the night of Holy Wednesday. The Congregation of the Parish of San Andrés also has the honor of accompanying the image of the Reclining Holy Christ of the Cathedral (magnificent work of Gregorio Fernández), in the Procession of the Steps during the night of Good Friday in Segovia.

The Cross is a wood carving made by a young parishioner and donated to the Parish in 2017. The gilding of the shield and the powers made by a Segovian gilder stand out.
In the exhibitor in front of the Christ of Patience you can see the instruments with which the Band of Bugles and Drums of the Faithful interprets its own marches in the processions in which it participates.
At the entrance of the chapel, on the right side, is the box that contains one of the medals of the Fellowship blessed by His Holiness Pope Francis, presented by the young priest Daniel Cuesta Gómez SJ , son of the baptismal font of our Parish , in hearing in October 2021.
<<His Holiness Pope Francis extended this blessing to all those parishioners who wore this medal on their chest.>>
Later, in the year 2022, the Holy Father blessed and briefly wore another medal of the Fellowship, in this case it was the original medal from which all the others were subsequently cast. Like the previous one, this one was presented by Fr. Daniel Cuesta Gómez SJ at a reception audience for relatives of Jesuits together with the medal of the Brotherhood of Marist Former Students of Segovia.
